Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 17, 2026

Ukuu studios ("UUKU," "we," "us," or "our") operates ukuustudios.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have, including for our email and text message (SMS) programs.

Information we collect

• Information you give us: your email address and mobile phone number when you sign up on the Site, and anything you send us when you contact us.
• Order information: if you make a purchase, your name, billing and shipping address, phone number, email, and order details. Payments are processed by Shopify and its payment partners. We do not store full card numbers.
• Information collected automatically: device and browser type, IP address, approximate location, pages viewed, and how you interact with our emails and texts, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

How we use your information

• To send the updates you signed up for, including early access, new releases, and other marketing by email and, if you opt in, by text message.
• To process and deliver orders and provide customer support.
• To operate, secure, and improve the Site and our communications.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Text messaging (SMS)

If you provide your mobile number and opt in, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing text messages from Ukuu studios at that number. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time and HELP for help. See our Terms & SMS Terms for full program details.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the categories of sharing described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers that help us deliver our text messages (such as our messaging platform and wireless carriers), and only for that purpose.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers who run parts of our business on our behalf, such as Shopify (store and checkout), Klaviyo (email and SMS delivery), payment processors, shipping carriers, and analytics providers. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
• Legal and safety: when required by law, to respond to legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of UUKU, our customers, or others.
• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, sale, or transfer of all or part of our business.

Cookies and analytics

We and our service providers use cookies and similar tools to keep the Site working, remember your preferences, and understand how the Site and our messages perform. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Some features may not work properly if cookies are disabled.

Your choices

• Email: click "unsubscribe" in any marketing email.
• Text messages: reply STOP to any message.
• Access, correction, and deletion: depending on where you live, including under the Minnesota Consumer Data Privacy Act, the California Consumer Privacy Act, and similar laws, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or get a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising or profiling. To make a request, email us at the address below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Data retention and security

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect it, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
